1. Create project
In this step we will go through the process of creating a project
You have the option to create a project either from the projects page or the dashboard.
For the purposes of this video we will use the projects page.
Click on create a new project
Choose a name for your project
Select the appropriate category
If applicable, select a certification authority.
If you wish to track all changes made to your project, you can enable the audit log.

Proceed by clicking next to create your project
2. Create Transit
In this step we will go through the process of creating a transit.
Click the add transit button to create a transit.
Select the solution type you want.
Proceed by clicking next
Choose a name for your transit.
Drawing number goes here
Drawing annotaion goes here
You can change the spare capacity, this defines the capacity for future additions.
You can also change the module safety margin, a detailed explination can be found by clicking the question mark.
Proceed by clicking next to create your transit
3. Create project from backup
In this step we will go through the process of creating a project from a backup file.
Go to the projects page
Use the dropdown menu to access the restore backup function
Choose a name for the project
Select the appropriate category
Select the backup file you wish to use
If applicable, select a certification authority.
Proceed by clicking next to create the project from the backup file

4. Add multiple transits
In this step we will go through the process of creating multiple transits.
Access the dropdown menu and click the add multiple transits button.
Download and open the excel template.
Check the example and instructions tab for a detailed description on how to fill out the template.
In this video we will use the example data for our upload.
Upload the completed template.
Review the data and make finalize any changes.
Click preview import to continue.
Check the summary and click finish to complete the creation.
5. Project Settings details
In this step we will go through the project settings.
Start by selecting a project
Click the cogwheel
Here you can change the values provided when the project was created.
You can change the name of who is responsible. This is present on drawings.
You can change the status, this is visible in the projects view
You can Connect the project to any Transit operate or build asset you have been invited to.
This will allow you to push transits from designer to operate and build.

5.1 Module preferences (Roxtec)
In this step we will go through the module preferences
Start by selecting a project
Click the cogwheel
Open the module preferences tab
Here you can set the module safety margin.
A detailed explanation can be found by clicking the question mark
You can enable solid modules to be used as spares in the transit designer.
This can be useful if you do not plan to add more cables to the transit.
You can allow the rotation of square modules.
You can set the module preferences you want.
The transit designer will use the first module in the list that fits the supported cable range and is within the safety margin.
Click save and return to finalize any changes made.

5.2 Sharing
In this step we will go through the sharing settings.
Start by selecting a project
Click the cogwheel
Open the sharing tab
Here you can add collaborators to your project.
Type in their email and click add. If they have an account, you will see them in the list.
If they dont, then an invite to signup will be sent.
You can select the level of access each collaborator should have.
You can also make someone else the owner of the project. Or delete their access entirely
Any changes made take effect immediately
5.4 Audit Log
Start by selecting a project
Go to the settings menu
Select the Audit log tab
Click on Audit log enabled
Once the Audit log is enabled, it will track all changes made to the project.
6 Insert cables and pipes
Start by selecting a transit
You can choose between cables
Pipes
And Plastic conduits
Specify the diameter
The category is optional
Specify the amount of cables
You can add as many rows as you need
Click on the detailed button if you want to use more specific information
In this view its possible to paste from Excel
Press CTRL+v.
When you are finished, click the Design button to continue
Select the frame you want to use
The selection will be limited to frames suitable for your cable setup
When you are done click on Choose solution to continue
7. Design
If you have selected the wrong frame click Replace solution | |

Select a new frame then click Configure frame to continue | |
Finish by clicking Replace solution | |
You can use the Match hole function if you have are working off an existing hole | |
Click on Match hole | |
Type in the dimensions of the existing hole | |
Click on Find closest matching part |

|If you want to change the size of openings. Click on Change opening size||
|Select the opening size you want||
|Select how many openings you want||
|You can select various options for the frame by clicking Configure frame||
|You can select the Mounting type and Solution material||
|You can change the wedge and stayplate material||
|You can also select the ATEX and EMC options. Click the question marks for a detailed description.||
|Its possible to Attach a certificate for the solution||
|Click on the button Make packing plan to continue||
8. Packing plan
In this step we design the layout of our modules
Click and hold the left mouse button on a Module to drag it
Release the left button when the module is in the desired position
Under the Unpositioned tab you will find modules that need to be placed
Under the Positioned tab you will find modules that have been placed already
And under the Spares tab you can find spares to fill out any remaining space with
You can also use the Auto place all function. This will place all the modules for you automatically
Click the downwards arrow for different auto place functions
Using Levelout. The largest modules will be placed at the bottom of openings for best performance
The Separate By Category option will separate modules by the categories that have been assigned in the insert cables and pipes step.
Click on the Undo button to undo any action
Click on the Redo button to redo any action
Click on the button Summary to continue

9. Summary
Click on Summary to get a final summary of the design
You can Add accessories
Select the accessories you want
Then click on Add to transit to add them
Click on Get documents to download various documents or push the design to Transit Build and Operate
Select the documents you want
If you want a quote on the transit click on Get quote
Click on the button Download to download the selected documents
Or you can click Push to Transit Build to push the selected documents to transit build and operateThis requires the project to be linked with a Transit Build and Operate asset.
If a button is greyed out, the selected combination cannot be downloaded or pushed
Click the Buy button if you wish to order the transit.
This will require an account that is setup for online orders.
Click on the link Upgrade your account if you wish to enable online orders.
Click on the button Finish when you are done
